The Community Chest New Territories Walk – Stonecutters Bridge

The route starts from Ngong Shuen Chau Viaduct, via Stonecutters Bridge, East Tsing Yi Viaduct and ends at West Portal of Nam Wan Tunnel. It normally takes about 2 hours to complete the 6.5 km journey. Participants can have a chance to set foot on this new infrastructure before its official opening, and also enjoy the scenery of Rambler Channel.

Each participant should raise HK$300 or above by appealing sponsorship from friends and relatives. Pre-event enrolment is required on first come first served basis.

Deadline for enrolment via Cityline: 8 November 2009

Upon receiving the donation via Cityline, each participant will receive a Walk Pass. Shuttle bus transfer to the Start Point will be provided to all participants with valid Walk Passes at the Public Transport Interchange at Nam Cheong MTR Station. Please choose your preferred boarding time when enrol. Change of boarding time upon completion of enrolment is not allowed under any circumstances.

Upon arrival at the Finish Point, shuttle bus transfer will also be provided to Tsing Yi AR Station Bus Terminus.

You can choose to receive the Walk Pass(es) by registered mail or collect the Walk Pass(es) in person at the Chest office by presenting BOTH the credit card used in the transaction, and the printed copy of the transaction's confirmation webpage (or email). Walk Passes will be ready for collection from 2 November to 11 November 2009 once your enrolment is successful. The Community Chest's office address and collection hours are as follows:

Collection Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Important notes for Enrolment:
  1. Enrolment is on first come, first served basis.
  2. Each Walk Pass entitles for one person's admission.
  3. Any child of height under 1 meter does not need a Walk Pass.
  4. There is no drop-out point along the walk route. Participants must finish walking the entire distance.
  5. Only VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club credit cards are accepted for online and telephone enrolment.
  6. Each transaction is limited to a maximum of 20 Walk Passes.
  7. For safety concerns, participants aged 16 or below should be accompanied by their parents or guardians to participate in this Walk.
  8. All completed enrolments or issued Walk Passes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  9. If you choose to receive the Walk Pass(es) by registered mail, Cityline shall charge a registered mailing fee of HK$25 per transaction. All mailing charges collected are non-refundable. Please also make sure your name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address are clearly filled in the online form. Cityline will not be responsible for any loss or delay of delivery due to your submission of invalid or inaccurate personal information.
  10. In case you do not receive your Walk Passes via mail by 11 November 2009, or there is any enquiry about booking of Walk Passes, please call Cityline's Customer Service Centre at (852) 2314 4228. Business hours are 10:00 am – 10:00 pm daily.
  11. In case this New Territories Walk is cancelled or postponed, please contact The Community Chest of Hong Kong for any special arrangement. Under no circumstances will the mailing charges be refunded.
  12. You agree that Cityline can provide your personal information(except credit card details) to The Community Chest of Hong Kong for the purpose of issuance of official receipts.
  13. In case of any dispute arising from the donation and enrolment of this New Territories Walk, the decision of The Community Chest of Hong Kong and Cityline (Hong Kong) Limited shall be final.
